NSSWE is offering Trumpet, Trombone, Sax, Drums, Keyboard & Bass Guitar musicians a rare opportunity to work with some of the most recognisable names in Jazz on the Northern Beaches. We are excited to welcome back John Morrison who is one of Australia’s best known jazz musicians, and Tim Crow, a highly regarded jazz educator and performer. Both have had a long association with NSSWE and their sessions promise to be challenging and lots of fun.
From the weekend participants, 2 or 3 NSSWE Stage Bands will be established to audition for and, if successful, perform at the Manly Jazz Festival as well as at the Afternoon of Jazz at our own Spring Music Festival in Chatswood on 13 September. It is therefore essential that students attend BOTH days of the workshop.
